Drive/Sea Tours to Cape York

The 9 to 14 day Drive/Sea Cape York Tour offers travellers three different holidays in one-the first being a sea trip through the Great Barrier Reef, the second is setting foot on Australia's most northerly point, Cape York and the third is the experience of travelling the outback tracks of the Cape York Peninsula in luxuriously appointed four-wheel drives.
Your Great Barrier Reef trip can be on either the M.V. Pacific Discover or the M.V. Trinity Bay.
These vessels are freight carrying cargo ships that you will get to see first hand the loading and unloading of fuel, building equipment, supplies and food at remote island communities.
For a little more luxury then you also have the option of cruising the Great Barrier Reef on Coral Princes Cruises after you have driven from Cairns to Cape York and flown back to Cairns.
After a short stop over at Cape York your tour will then start its return leg using one of the many purpose-built 4WD safari vehicles which are all fitted out with air-conditioning, comfortable forward facing cloth seats, seat belts, PA system, Royal Flying Doctor radios, first aid kits and all off-road equipment.
